“The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” was created in 1498 by German artist, Albrecht Dürer. The woodcut print depicts an apocalyptic scene (Chapter 6:1-8) from the Book of Revelation, which was written by the Apostle John on the Island of Patmos.
